Damien Johnson is gutted David Dunn's latest comeback was abruptly ended after he limped off against Liverpool.
The Birmingham midfielder has been beset by injuries during his spell at St Andrew's and is now set for another month on the sidelines.
Johnson had only just returned to the dressing room after being sent off when Dunn joined him with a torn calf muscle.
"I was sitting there in the dressing room after being sent off and the next minute David walked in," said Johnson.
"I was more gutted for him than myself because I know how hard he has worked to overcome his injury problems.
"He's not been rushed back and in the last two or three games he's really looked the part. It's a nightmare for him to break down again."
