Birmingham boss Steve Bruce has revealed David Dunn is making good progress from his back injury.Dunn underwent serious surgery last month in a bid to cure a spine problem.
The former Blackburn man has been plagued by hamstring problems for some time and he was ruled out for the season after breaking down in training in January.
Bruce is hoping that surgery has done the trick for Dunn and that he will back in action next season.
"He's flat on his back but he's making good progress," said Bruce.
"We wouldn't have done the op if we didn't think it was going to be okay.
"They've told us it was a success. He had a piece of bone jumping around affecting the nerves."
