Birmingham City have been rocked with the news that influential midfielder David Dunn has been ruled out for the rest of season with a serious hamstring injury.
The England international has been troubled with the problem for some time and it is now apparent that he needs surgery.
The stats suggest that Blues will miss their £5 million signing from Blackburn.
He has featured in 11 Premiership games this season and City have lost just once. Without him in the side they have slumped to nine defeats.

Whenever the creative promptings of Dunn have been missing this season, his team has managed just 0.85 goals a game.
That figure leaps to 1.45 a game when the burly schemer is in action.
With just hours until the transfer window closes, Birmingham manager Steve Bruce will now have to decide quickly whether he needs to draft in reinforcements.
