Oldham boss Brian Talbot has bolstered his injury ravaged squad with the loan signing of Birmingham's Neil Kilkenny.
The promising 18-year-old has agreed to spend a month with the League One outfit and goes straight into contention for a place against Barnsley at the weekend.
Kilkenny joins Tottenham's Mark Hughes in agreeing a loan switch, as Talbot looks to increase numbers to his decimated squad.
Former England international Robert Lee is currently training at Boundary Park - with the Lancashire outfit desperate to add experience to their ranks.
Nine players are currently sidelined for Oldham, who are struggling at the wrong end of the League One table.
Meanwhile, Birmingham's second year scholar David Howland has inked an 18-month contract at St Andrews.
