David Dunn admits the thought of breaking down again is worrying him.Birmingham midfielder David Dunn has admitted that the thought of breaking down again is a fear he is struggling to overcome.
The England international midfielder has been beset by niggling injuries in the last 12 months, with a recurring hamstring problem the main cause of concern.
Dunn made his first appearance of the season against Charlton at the weekend, but he admits he struggled to fully focus on his game.
"When I came on against Charlton, I really wasn't bothered what I did in the game as I was more worried that I would pull up again," said the 24-year-old.
Blues manager Steve Bruce is expected to hand Dunn a run-out against Lincoln in the Carling Cup and the midfielder is hoping his injury problems are behind him.
"It would be a nightmare to have to go through the last seven months again," he added.
