CRYSTAL PALACE striker Clinton Morrison has admitted he would be interested in a possible move to Birmingham City and link up again with former Eagles boss Steve Bruce again.

The Premiership new boys have already failed in one bid for the prolific hit-man as they look to bring in a top-quality striker for next season.

Palace know they face a fight to hold onto their most prized asset and are willing to do business at the right price.

Morrison is determined to play in The Premiership and although he admitted it would be a wrench to leave Palace he is willing to join Birmingham if both clubs can agree a deal.

"I do want to play in the Premiership," Morrison told the Evening Mail. " It'll be hard to leave Palace, but it's looking increasingly likely I'll have to make a decision soon.

"If the two clubs agree a fee, I'll talk to Birmingham. Then if I agree personal terms I'll sign. I think the two clubs are close to agreeing a fee.

"Steve Bruce is one of the best managers I've worked with and I feel I played well under him."

Meanwhile, Palace defender Gregg Berhalter has seen his proposed move to Greek outfit Iraklis fall through after both clubs failed to agree a deal.
