The 2013/14 Football League season kicks off on Friday night and we'll take a look ahead to the new campaign on FL72 - Season Preview on Thursday night.
Presenter Simon Thomas will be joined by Wycombe manager Gareth Ainsworth, MK Dons boss Karl Robinson and QPR midfielder Shaun Derry to run through the three Football League divisions and round-up the big stories from a fascinating summer.
Starting in League Two, where Ainsworth will be aiming to steer the Chairboys up the standings after their mid-table finish last term, we'll assess the chances of promotion favourites Portsmouth, Fleetwood and Chesterfield and consider how Football League new boys Mansfield Town and Newport County may fare now that they are back in the big time.
Then we'll move on to League One which seems set to be an intriguing contest with a number of sides including Wolves, Brentford, Peterborough, Bristol City and Sheffield United all hoping to be in the mix for promotion come May.
Robinson's MK Dons will also be targeting a high finish and we'll ask him about his side - and their rivals for promotion - on the show.
And finally we'll take a look at the second tier of English football and examine one of the most unpredictable divisions in football - the Championship.
Derry's QPR dropped out of the Premier League last season and they, along with Reading and Wigan, will be hoping for an immediate return to the top flight.
However, Bolton, Nottingham Forest and Leicester have all formed formidable squads and last season's Play-Off Final runners-up Watford will be aiming to go one step further this time.
So join us for FL72 - Season Preview at 7pm, Thursday, Sky Sports 1 HD
