Bournemouth's Tommy Elphick is expecting an "intriguing" play-off semi-final second leg when Norwich entertain Ipswich on Saturday.

This weekend’s second leg is finely poised following a 1-1 draw when the East Anglian rivals met at Portman Road last weekend.

Jonny Howson’s opener was cancelled out by a Paul Anderson strike in first-half injury time and Elphick, who has played against both sides this season, admits the tie hangs in the balance.

Speaking to the Morning View on Sky Sports News HQ, the central defender said: "It’s going to be an intriguing tie.

"Ipswich have got good solid players that you can rely on. You can never shake Mick McCarthy’s teams and Daryl Murphy is the top scorer in the division.

"We found it hard against them twice this season and with it being it also being a local derby there is everything to play for in the second leg.

"But I think there is a lot of pressure on Norwich because of the players they have. Coming down from the Premier League last season, holding on to most of their players and then adding to the squad, everyone is expecting them to see it through."

Watch the semi-final second leg between Norwich and Ipswich on Sky Sports 1 HD on Saturday from 12pm.
