Millwall won't give up on survival, says Martyn Woolford

Martyn Woolford remains convinced Millwall can pull off another great escape and avoid relegation to League One.

The winger's goal against Bournemouth on the final day of last season kept the Lions in the Championship, but they find themselves in a similarly desperate situation this term.

Millwall are currently second from bottom and seven points adrift of 21st-placed Rotherham, who also have a superior goal difference.

But Woolford told the club website: "We've got to take the confidence from what we did this time last year into our next seven games.

"Everyone had written us off apart from us in the building here.

"We are in exactly the same mind frame - none of us are giving up at all, not by any means. We will keep at it, one game at a time, and we know that we can turn this around."
