Bolton boss Neil Lennon praised two-goal teen talent Zach Clough but was disappointed as substitute James Henry's "goal of the season contender" rescued a stoppage-time 2-2 draw for Wolves.

Clough struck twice in the first half on his Skybet Championship debut after Nouha Dicko's early goal for the visitors before Henry's hammer hit from 35 yards completed the scoring.

"Zach's performance was amazing considering he has not kicked a ball for three weeks," said Lennon on his 19-year-old Mancunian striker's comeback from a hamstring injury.

"I don't know where he got the free-kick from because I have never seen him do it before. But he is an outstanding talent and we have to manage him in the right way.

"We can't get carried away. I have to be mindful not to build him up into something he might possibly be.

"He might never get there but he is a definite talent. That's three goals in two games and it is quite a contribution the kid is making. He has got off to a fantastic start to his career."

Bolton remain unbeaten at home under Lennon but the Ulsterman was left fuming his team threw away a winning lead.

Substitute James Henry rescued an unlikely point for Wolves with a stunning long range stoppage time strike as they claimed a 2-2 draw at Bolton

"At one-up you are never comfortable but the game was won," he insisted. "We had the ball in the corner and we should have booted it out for a throw in.

"We then didn't deal with the first header when the ball came down field and Henry had no other option but to shoot from 35 yards. It was poor from our point of view."

Midfielder Darren Pratley's hamstring injury will see him miss Wednesday's FA Cup fourth-round replay against Liverpool and force Lennon into a "busy" final few days before the transfer window closes.

"We have got more players in the medical room than we have on the pitch," he said.

Wolves boss Kenny Jackett described Henry's point saver as a "goal of the season contender", adding: "No keeper would have got that.

"James has real quality and I also thought we missed his set piece delivery. I felt we lacked in the first half and Bolton deserved their lead.

"In the second, they sat quite deep and we continued to try to put the ball behind them which wasn't the right tactic . We should have moved the ball better and got the ball into feet."

"I am always pleased to pick up point away from home," added Jackett, disappointed his side did not win a penalty for a foul on former Bolton loanee, Benik Afobe.

"But it was tough for us to break them down and a real bit of quality did that in the end."
