Leon Clarke and Michael Jacobs are set to stay at Wolves - unless the club receive big offers.

The pair have fallen down the pecking order at Molineux but head coach Kenny Jackett needs them as back-up.

Striker Clarke is out of contract at the end of the season and has scored twice in 19 games this term, although he has only made seven starts.

Winger Jacobs has started just four games this season but Jackett insisted Wolves are likely to resist any offers for the duo.

"We haven't got a big squad and both of those have been subs on a regular basis," he told the Wolverhampton Express & Star.

"With a number of players, if the right offer came in, we'd have to consider it.

"But those are the next ones into the team in their particular positions. I'd think it's very unlikely to happen, but in terms of a big bid, then fine. Other than that, I'd very much doubt it for our substitutes."
