Derby have completed the signing of Sweden U21 international Isak Ssewankambo from Dutch club NAC Breda.

Ssewankambo, who was on the books at Chelsea, has been training with the Rams and joins the Sky Bet Championship promotion chasers on a free transfer.

The 18-year-old has put pen to paper on a two-and-a-half-year deal.

Ssewankambo, who can play at right-back or in midfield, helped Chelsea win the FA Youth Cup in May 2014 with a goal in the second leg of the final against Fulham.

He played 13 Eredivisie games for NAC Breda after moving to the Netherlands from Chelsea in July.
