Stand-in goalkeeper Simon Eastwood was pleased to play his part as Blackburn extended their unbeaten run to nine Championship matches with Saturday's 1-1 draw at Middlesbrough.
With on-loan shot-stopper Jason Steele unavailable to feature against his parent club, Eastwood deputised for his first appearance since January.
"It was nice to get a game again," Eastwood told the club website. "It has been quite a while, but I've been working hard in training waiting for my chance and it paid off.
"I'm just happy that we managed to get a point with the goal in the last minute. We never stop, we keep going until the end and we proved that again. The most important thing is we got the result."
