Sky Sports understands Southend United have extended the loan of Jerome Binnom-Williams from Crystal Palace until January.
The England youth International has been a revelation since he joined the Shrimpers at the start of September.
His form has attracted clubs from the Sky Bet Championship and League 1 who are keen to take the 6ft 2inch, powerful left-back on loan once his initial one-month deal at Roots Hall expires later this month.
Since his arrival at Southend, Binnom-Williams has started all four league games, keeping three clean sheets as well as playing a pivotal role in the club's fourth straight victory at home to Shrewsbury last Saturday.
He made his Southend debut in the 2-0 home victory against Portsmouth, putting in a man of the match display.
Binnom Williams started every pre-season game for Palace under previous manager Tony Pulis. The ex-Palace boss is a huge admirer of the 19-year-old and gave a glowing reference to Phil Brown about his talent.
Binnom-Williams' last appearance for Palace was in the 3-0 away win at Walsall in the Capital One Cup in August.
