Birmingham City manager Lee Clark has refuted reports suggesting he could make a move for Bolton Wanderers' Rob Hall.

Clark was said to be preparing to dip back into the transfer market for creativity on the flanks and had identified Hall as a top target.

He has, however, attempted to distance himself from such speculation by announcing that he has no intention of adding to his ranks before the summer window closes.

I don’t have to go into the transfer market again. We don’t want any more injuries. But we think we are okay.

Clark said in the Birmingham Mail: "It has been put to us by certain people from different parts of football.

"But there is nothing on that. We are fine on those areas.

"If there is anything I am looking at - which I am not - you would say maybe I'd be after someone (to cover) for Gavin Gunning.

"But I have just seen Will Packwood give another impressive performance for the U21s this afternoon.

"So there’s Will, David Edgar, Grant Hall, Paul Robinson and Jonathan Grounds, who was impressive at Notts County in that position and played a lot in the Championship there, while I was at Norwich City.
