Wolverhampton Wanderers have informed those looking for new deals, such as Sam Ricketts, that talks must wait until the season has started.
Ricketts is among those to have entered the final year of their current deals and to have expressed a desire to discuss fresh terms.
Kenny Jackett is aware that those sweating on their future are eager to know where they stand, but has pointed out that making a positive start to life back in the Sky Bet Championship has to be the priority for now.
He said in the Express and Star: "It's great Sam feels that way because he's settled in very well at the club both on and off the pitch.
There’s been no approach or no offers for anyone, as far as I’m aware.
"His challenge, like all of us, is to have a successful August and September. That's what we're focusing on at the moment and Sam's a big part of that.
"We'll see where we are through August and September, definitely.
"So there's been nothing yet. He's just over halfway through his contract and he's done very well for us."
Meanwhile, Jackett has also revealed that Republic of Ireland international Stephen Ward is still likely to leave the club, despite figuring in pre-season, and that he is unaware of any interest from Lens in midfielder Tongo Doumbia.
On Ward, he said: "He came into this group and showed a good attitude but he's looking for his next move, we all know that.
"I wanted to have a look at him because he had a successful year at Brighton last season."
On Doumbia, he added: "I've spoken to the powers-that-be and I don't think that's (reports of a deal being agreed) accurate.
"There's been no approach or no offers for anyone, as far as I’m aware."
