Young Spanish goalkeeper David Raya has signed his first professional contract with Blackburn Rovers.
The 18-year-old, who joined Blackburn from Barcelona-based club Cornella, is highly rated and has already made 23 appearances for the club's development team and Academy side.
The Spanish keeper spent his first season playing for the Under-18s and was part of Gary Bowyer's first team squad that travelled to Portugal in pre-season and was awarded a squad number.
"I'm very happy because it is a chance to carry on my career," Raya told the club's website.
"It is a good achievement for me and my family, I've been working hard every day for this.
"I've been here two years so it was an easy decision to make, it is a dream."
