Millwall's latest signing Federico Bessone revealed his admiration for manager Ian Holloway was a key factor in his decision to join the club's relegation fight.
The 30-year-old Argentinian defender, who signed a short-term contract until the end of the season earlier this week, believes Holloway can help get the best out of him.
"In my second season playing for Swansea I remember that he was Blackpool manager," Bessone told the club's official website.
"That year they got promoted to the Premier League playing very good football.
"Swansea had a Spanish mentality with Roberto Martinez and they liked to play with a Barcelona style.
"It was hard for me when I moved to Leeds because we didn't play like I was used to and I struggled, if I'm honest. But I learnt from that.
"Here I understand the way that the manager wants to play and I'm here because I like the mentality that he has.
"I will try to help the team as much as I can."
Bessone progressed through the youth set-up at Barcelona and after a stint at Espanyol moved to England with Swansea before spells at Leeds and Charlton.
