On-loan Middlesbrough striker Danny Graham has revealed he wants to make up for lost playing time whilst at the club.
The 28-year-old has rejoined the club he started his career with on a deal until the end of the season and he is eager to score the goals that will help Boro climb up the table.
The former Sunderland man admitted that he had been frustrated by his lack of exposure to the first team during his spell with the Hull City, where he only made 18 appearances.
The forward told the Evening Gazette: "I've got time to make up after what has been the most frustrating year of my career.
"I wasn't getting starts at Hull and I'm not a player happy to sit on the bench and pick up money, I want to play.
"I want to score goals. Boro offered me that chance and I've jumped at it. I'm a bit rusty maybe. I played last week in the cup but that was my first start since Boxing Day.
"But I'm fit and hungry for it so hopefully it won't be long before I am showing what I can do. I know what to expect. I know how hard it can be, how hard you need to work to get chances but I'm looking forward to it.
"I can't wait to start helping Boro win games and climb the table."
