Charlton are sweating on an injury to defender Rhoys Wiggins ahead of the weekend visit of Birmingham.
The left-back, who last week signed a new long-term contract at The Valley, pulled up with a hamstring problem just eight minutes into Saturday's last-gasp 2-1 defeat at Wigan.
Youngster Harry Lennon replaced Wiggins to join fellow Academy graduates Diego Poyet and Jordan Cousins in a new-look Charlton side which also included four new signings.
"You are playing against a side that have got some good individuals and we had to put on yet another youngster really early on," said manager Chris Powell.
"I thought Harry Lennon acquitted himself really well, along with Diego Poyet and Jordan Cousins - three lads from the academy."
