Crystal Palace defender Jack Hunt has agreed to move to Barnsley on loan until the end of the season.
The 23-year-old full-back arrived at Selhurst Park from Huddersfield at the end of August.
But Hunt has still to make an appearance for Palace after suffering an ankle break during training in his first week in south London.
And the Yorkshireman is likely to make his debut against Sheffield Wednesday this weekend, as he aims to get regular game time to aid his recovery.
Hunt will hook up with another Palace defender Peter Ramage, who is also on loan at Oakwell.
A statement from Crystal Palace read: "Jack Hunt has joined Championship side Barnsley on loan until the end of the season.
"Hunt will return to his native Yorkshire where he progressed from the youth ranks at Huddersfield Town to the first team, making over 100 appearances after his debut in January 2011.
"Having recovered from his injury setback, Hunt will now link up with another Eagles loanee Peter Ramage at Oakwell as they aim to help the Tykes claw themselves out of the Championship relegation zone."
