Peter Lovenkrands believes he is likely to stay at Birmingham City until his contract expires at the end of the season.
The Danish attacker has been with the club since the summer of 2012 but is not a regular in Lee Clark's starting XI and is staying open-minded about his options for the future.
He does not anticipate a move during the January transfer window and has made it clear that he is desperate for more opportunities to impress.
The 33-year-old has not yet decided what he will do when his deal runs out.
"Of course, I would like to play more, but I hope I get the chance soon," Lovenkrands told Tipsbladet.
"I am taking it easy. I am still involved at the club and I am fit and ready."
He added: "Everything can happen of course, but right now I don't think something will happen.
"It will probably be during the summer, but I am focused on training well and be ready.
"I haven't thought much about the future yet, because I still got six months left on my contract."
