Standard Liege have confirmed midfielder Astrit Ajdarevic is set to leave the club on loan, and reports in Belgium claim he is set to join Charlton Athletic.
Standard owner Roland Duchatelet is taking over at The Valley and one of the first deals for his new club looks set to be bringing in Ajdarevic.
The former Sweden Under-21 international was with Liverpool as a youngster and also Leicester City, and joined Standard in 2012, but has failed to hold down a regular first-team spot.
He now looks set for a move to England with Championship club Charlton.
"It is quite possible that Astrit will join another club on loan for six months." stated Standard sports director Jean-Francois de Sart to Swedish daily Expressen.
"There are some options, but I do not want to mention which club since nothing is sealed yet.
"A loan for six months is a good solution for all parties. Then, Astrit will return and we will review the situation."
