Leeds defender Adam Drury will take a step closer to first-team action this week following a long-term calf injury.

The 35-year-old, restricted to just three appearances for Leeds this season, is scheduled to play for the development squad against Crewe.

Drury last featured for Leeds in the Capital One Cup win at Doncaster in August and his only league appearance this season was as a substitute in the opening-day win against Brighton.

The former Norwich full-back joined Leeds on a free transfer in June 2012 and has made a total of 18 appearances for the club.
