Blackburn defender Scott Dann hailed his side's fighting spirit after they scored late on to salvage a point in Saturday's 2-2 draw with Blackpool.
Just as it looked like the Seasiders were going to take all three points, Tom Cairney's 92nd-minute free-kick was deflected into his own net by Steve Davies to give the visitors a share of the spoils.
Rovers captain Dann believes his side thoroughly deserved their point.
He told the club's official website: "The longer the game goes on you feel as if it is not going to come even though we were pushing and deserved an equaliser. But I was glad to get it in the end.
"I didn't think it was a penalty against us, it was quite unfortunate, but we've gone a goal behind and that spurred us on and we got back into the game.
"When we got our goal we were on top but they then scored a goal against the run of play and we were back to square one.
"But we came out in the second half and showed a lot of spirit and fight and we got what we deserved in the end."
