Shaun Derry is looking to extend his spell with Millwall, he has confirmed to Sky Sports.
The 35-year-old QPR midfielder is set to play the final game of a month-long stay with the Lions this weekend.
"I'm just happy playing, when you get older and you're just sat there watching from the sidelines it becomes even more frustrating," he told Sky Sports News Radio's Football League hour.
"It probably hit home when I was 30, realising that I'm getting a little bit older and how important the game is to me, I just want to continue to play for as long as I can and thankfully Millwall have given me that opportunity.
"The club have a decision to make, I've had a chat with the manager and if he's keen, I'm keen to stay longer.
"The managers of both Millwall and QPR need to sit down and discuss it, QPR have set off like a house on fire and Harry [Redknapp] probably wouldn't want to mess around with his squad too much so it might be in everyone's best interests if I stick out on loan."
