Napoli have made a bid to snatch Duvan Zapata from under the noses of Queens Park Rangers.
Sky Sports revealed last week that Zapata had travelled to England last week after QPR agreed a deal with his club Estudiantes.
However, the Sicilian giants are ready to gazump Rangers and are understood to have offered more than £6milllion.
Rangers had hoped to finalise the deal and start the process of gaining a work permit for the Colombian striker - but Napoli's renewed interest in the 20-year-old is now threatening their deal.
Despite Napoli's new bid, Rangers are still hopeful that they can secure a deal for Zapata.
