Burnley midfield ace Chris McCann has left the club as he wants a 'fresh challenge'.
McCann's current deal is due to expire at Turf Moor and the club had been in talks over a new contract.
However, McCann has now decided that, after nearly 300 games for the club, he is ready to move on and has opted not to extend his stay.
"Chris has made it clear to the club that he would like a fresh challenge," Sam Winstanley, spokesman for Beswicks Sports, confirmed to Sky Sports.
"He won't be signing a new deal after enjoying a fantastic eight years at Burnley Football Club."
The 25-year-old is understood to have interest from the Premier League and a number of rival Championship cubs.
"We are aware of some interest from a number of clubs," Winstanley added.
