Ipswich manager Mick McCarthy was a satisfied man after his side drew 1-1 with Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough on Saturday.
The Suffolk club are now six points clear of the Championship drop zone with just two games remaining.
Jay Tabb fired Town into a 12th minute lead before Leroy Lita levelled matters just before the hour mark.
And McCarthy said: "There isn't a bad away point in this league.
"We played well enough to be in front by more in the first half but then Dave (Jones) will argue that they've had the better of the second.
"I think he said they had a good goal disallowed but no they didn't and we had one that we thought was over the line but wasn't given.
"So, probably honours even in terms of playing and result and we shouldn't have even bothered.
"I'd have taken a point before we started, instead of kicking lumps out of each other!"
