Bristol City boss Sean O'Driscoll has dragged his side back down to earth ahead of their Championship clash with runaway league leaders Cardiff.
O'Driscoll, who was appointed manager at Ashton Gate a month ago, has seen the Robins earn nine points from their last four games with wins over his former club Nottingham Forest, Watford and Ipswich.
However, the 55-year-old knows the Robins will face a different prospect entirely when they come up against Malky Mackay's Bluebirds at the Cardiff City Stadium on Saturday.
"I was pouring cold water on their celebrations," O'Driscoll said after the latest win against Forest.
"We have two of the hardest away games possible coming up. I'm ever the realist and they don't come much tougher than Cardiff City and Crystal Palace away.
"We're playing two of the best teams in the division on their own patch; we need to prepare for that.
"I'm not being negative, I'm a realist. They're going to be two difficult games. We'll give them the respect they deserve."
