Sky Sports understands Birmingham are set to re-sign left-back Paul Robinson on a new contract when his current deal expires this weekend.
Robinson arrived on a free transfer in September following his release by Bolton, penning a short-term deal at St Andrew's.
Since then the defender has made 21 appearances in all competitions for the Blues, establishing himself in Lee Clarke's first-team.
His place in the side has been cemented following injury to fellow left-back David Murphy, who is recovering after knee surgery.
Clarke is thought to have been impressed by the former Watford and West Brom player and is set to reward him with a new deal.
