Wolves boss Stale Solbakken says he will not rush Jamie O'Hara back into action too soon following a lengthy lay-off.

The midfielder has been out since March following a third hernia operation but has just completed his first week of full training.

"I don't think we should stress with how far away he is from squad because it's been a long time," said Solbakken.

"We'll try to arrange a behind-closed-doors game in the next seven to 10 days where he can play 30-45 minutes or whatever.

"He's getting there, but it's about getting used to covering spaces on a big pitch that he will struggle with for a few weeks.

"But the main thing is he doesn't get any setbacks now because that's what's happened before.

"I think mentally he is relieved and wants to get on with his football - in that respect it has been a good week."
