Peterborough manager Darren Ferguson has been given a vote of confidence by club chairman Darragh MacAnthony.
Posh remain rooted to the bottom of the Championship table after Saturday's 4-1 home defeat to Blackpool - their 15th defeat in 20 league matches.
But MacAnthony tweeted: "Sacking the most successful manager in our recent history would be ridiculous.
"There is nobody more committed to getting it right and he will do it!
"Myself and the manager have great trust in what we are planning for the future and it's important to be together when things are not going well.
"As bad as results have been, we are not a million miles away football-wise and need that confidence/luck in front of goal. It's coming!
"I have been here before when things have turned dark and gloomy and know what it takes to ensure the club comes back from it."
