Norwegian goalkeeper Rune Almenning Jarstein has stated his desire to sign for Championship outfit Hull City.
The Tigers seem to be firmly in the market for a new keeper having lodged a bid for Australian youngster Matthew Ryan as well as registering their interest in Jarstein.
The Norway international, who currently plays for Viking, is keen to ply his trade outside his home country and views Hull as an ideal destination.
Steve Bruce's side have reportedly had an initial offer rejected by the Norwegian club before resuming negotiations at the beginning of this week.
"Hull would be a fantastic option that I am keen on. I still hope and believe that it will be sorted out." Jarstein told Stavanger Aftenblad.
