New Bolton Wanderers manager Dougie Freedman will look to bring two members of his backroom staff from Crystal Palace to the Reebok Stadium.

Assistant manager Lennie Lawrence and first-team coach Curtis Fleming are in temporary charge of affairs at Selhurst Park following Freedman's departure, but it now seems likely that they will be following the Scot to Bolton.

Crystal Palace co-chairman Steve Parish has indicated that he expects a deal to be done for both members of staff to follow their manager.

"It's fair to say that is probably what Dougie wants and I think we've got to look at it," Parish told the South London Press.

"I know Lennie is just an unbelievably professional bloke that will do a great job for us, up to the point he goes"

"I know Lennie is just an unbelievably professional bloke that will do a great job for us, up to the point he goes.

"I know it would be a difficult decision but he's become very close to Dougie, they have worked together very closely. So maybe that is what happens."

Freedman was in charge of the Eagles for 90 games, winning 32 and losing 31.
