Sheffield Wednesday boss Dave Jones felt his side were unlucky to lose 1-0 to Hull City at Hillsborough.

Aaron McLean's goal 13 minutes from time condemned the Owls to a seventh defeat in eight games.

Jones said: "It's not a game we felt we deserved to lose but you can't keep saying that.

"I think everybody is just frustrated. It either had 0-0 written all over it or we had a 1-0 steal ourselves.

"We created our own problem by switching off for the goal. We've got to stop conceding sloppy, lazy goals and that's what it all comes down.

"Probably for an hour we created a lot of good chances and it was maybe just that wrong decision or that little bit of quality that was missing.

"It's a bit frustrating for us but we've got to take hope from the performances and not the results sometimes."
