Blackpool defender Alex Baptiste says they are determined to bounce back from Monday's setback against Huddersfield.
Ian Holloway's high-flying side were leapfrogged by their opponents following the Terriers' shock 3-1 win at Bloomfield Road.
"We kind of went from back to front too quickly against Huddersfield," Baptiste admitted.
"We got sucked into their game and they didn't really have many chances, apart from the set-pieces that killed us just before and just after half-time. We've now studied it and there are a lot of things we need to work on.
"If we play the way we play, then there's no team in the league that can stop us - we just need reminders every now and then.
"We need to solve the problem quicker and defend our set-pieces much better, as well as being more aggressive in both boxes."
Baptiste, who has been an ever-present this season, is now turning his attentions to Saturday's clash with Cardiff in Wales.
The 26-year-old added: "There's a lot of things that we need to put right and we're going to do that against Cardiff. They've got a fantastic squad with some world class players, so it's going to be tough.
"They're in the same position as us, coming off a defeat. We need to apply ourselves and play our way."
