Blackpool's new signing Jake Caprice is ready for his latest professional challenge after completing a move to the Championship club. The 18-year-old was released by Crystal Palace at the end of last season after progressing through the ranks at Selhurst Park. He has signed a one-year deal, with the option of a further year, and becomes manager Ian Holloway's first signing of the summer at Bloomfield Road. Holloway pinpointed the teenager's potential when he played in a development squad match against Manchester United last season. "I'm delighted to be here, my agent spoke to the manager after I trained here last season and played against United," Caprice told the club's official website. "I grew up at Palace and it was a bit of an uncertain time for me after I left the club in the summer, but I'm just really happy that I've got things sorted and that I've got a new challenge in front of me."
