Chris Hackett is the highest profile victim of the cull having made almost 150 appearances for the south London club.
The 29-year-old joined from Hearts in 2006 but has not played for the Lions since January having joined Wycombe on-loan until the end of the season.
Also on the way out are 30-year-old Jordan Stewart, who has played just seven times this season, and youngsters Jake Gallagher and Conor McLaren along with a number of youth players who are leaving the club too.
