Leeds United striker Danny Webber insists that the club's supporters have yet to see the best of him.
The 30-year-old has made six appearances for the Championship club since joining on a deal until the end of the season earlier this month.
The former Sheffield United front man was without a club for nine months after struggling with injury following his release from Portsmouth in the summer.
However, Webber says that he is enjoying his return to action and hopes to impress during the final seven games of the season.
Great atmosphere
"I'm just enjoying the freedom of playing football again without any politics or niggles weighing you down," Webber told
Sky Sports.
"It is just nice to be playing around good players and a great atmosphere from a top crowd and playing for something.
"There is still a lot to play for with seven games to go and it is a breath of fresh air for me to be playing football in this type of environment.
"I hope the fans have taken to me, but I still feel that I've got a lot more to give for this club yet.
"The reception from the fans has been brilliant so far and the passion is clear for everyone to see at Elland Road and I've always enjoyed playing there during my career, so I'm looking forward to playing for the home team there for the rest of this season."
Watford
The Whites welcome one of Webber's former clubs, Watford, to Elland Road on Saturday and he is keen to put one over his old team-mate Sean Dyche, the current Hornets manager.
He added: "I had a good time at Watford and obviously played with Dychey, the current manager down there now, so I know all about him and he knows all about me.
"Watford are a good family club that I always look forward to playing against and have usually done quite well against, so as long as they are safe and we get the three points I'll be happy."
