Midfielder allowed to leave after frustrating six months

Blackpool midfielder Bojan Djordjic has left the club by mutual consent after just six months at Bloomfield Road. The Swedish midfielder had previously on the books of Manchester United and Rangers as a highly-rated youngster. He joined the Seasiders in the summer on a two-year with the option of a further year, but failed to break into boss Ian Holloway's plans. The decision has now been taken to let Djordjic go with immediate effect to allow him to look for another club. A statement on Blackpool's official website read: "The Seasiders would like to wish the 29-year-old all the very best for the future."
