Trio sign contracts until the end of the season at the Keepmoat

Dean Saunders believes Doncaster Rovers fans will be 'excited' by the triple signing of Damien Plessis, Mamadou Bagayoko and Habib Bamogo until the end of the season. Skysports.com revealed last week that former Liverpool midfielder Plessis was due to join on loan from Panathinaikos and would be followed to the Keepmoat Stadium by Bagayoko and Bamogo. The deals were agreed before Christmas, but the Championship strugglers have now confirmed the paperwork has been signed to start on 2nd January, subject to international clearance being received. Bagayoko, 32, has enjoyed spells with a number of French football's leading clubs including Nantes and Nice, and has 11 goals in 15 appearances for Mali, and joins from Greek side PAS Giannina. A spell with Marseille for 29-year-old Burkina Faso international Bamogo, who has joined from another Greek side Panetolikos, means all three players boast Champions League experience. Rovers boss Saunders told the club's official website: "Fans will be excited when they see them play, they might not be 100% match fit as yet but we're strengthening all the time."
