Youngsters released from contracts early

Watford youngsters Eddie Oshodi and Tom Aldred have left the club after agreeing to have their contracts terminated. Nineteen year-old Oshodi only made two senior appearances for the Championship club and spent last season on loan at Blue Square Premier outfit Rushden. Aldred meanwhile failed to make a single appearance for the Hornets since signing from Carlisle last summer. The 20-year-old had a spell on-loan at Stockport last season before joining SPL outfit Inverness on a six-month loan deal at the start of this season. However, the deal was cut short after just a month and, like Oshodi, the defender has now been deemed surplus to requirements at Vicarage Road for the upcoming campaign.
