Preston winger to undergo medical on Monday
Skysports.com understands Keith Treacy is set to sign a three-year contract at Burnley after Preston North End accepted an offer for the winger.
Preston confirmed on Sunday evening that the club had finally decided to accept a bid from Burnley after rejecting three previous offers from the Championship side.
Treacy is now due to undergo a medical on Monday before finalising a move to Turf Moor on a contract until 2014.
Clarets boss Eddie Howe has been eager to bring in new faces after confirming at the weekend that he is short on numbers.
Howe lost Tyrone Mears and Chris Eagles to Bolton Wanderers last week and Treacy's imminent arrival will boost his options.
Peterborough United winger George Boyd is also a target for Burnley, who start the new Championship season at home to Watford on Saturday.
