Peterborough duo Ryan Bennett and Tommy Rowe have agreed new long-term contracts with the Championship outfit.
Centre-half Bennett has put pen to paper on a four-year deal while midfielder Rowe, who scored in May's play-off final win over Huddersfield, has signed on for three more years.
"I'm absolutley delighted," said manager Darren Ferguson.
"It is probably our most important signings that we have made during the summer, protecting our assets.
"They are two very good players who will only improve. We are very hopeful they will play a big part in establishing ourselves as a Championship team."
