Robbie Neilson has had his contract at Championship side Leicester cancelled by mutual consent.
Foxes agree to cancel defender's contract
Defender Robbie Neilson has left Championship side Leicester City by mutual consent.
The 31-year-old joined the Foxes on a free transfer from SPL side Hearts in July 2009, making 21 appearances in his first season at the King Power Stadium.
However, Nielson found first-team opportunities limited in his second season at the club and was loaned out to League One side Brentford in February.
Despite having a year left on his contract the Foxes have made it clear he has no future at the Midlands outfit so have agreed to release him early in order to find a new club.
