Blackpool have completed their first signing since being relegated after bringing in Bojan Djordjic.

Winger feels this could be his last chance to impress in England

Blackpool have completed their first signing since being relegated from the Premier League after bringing in Bojan Djordjic on a free transfer. Skysports.com revealed earlier this month that Djordjic was set to move to Bloomfield Road following a spell in Hungary with Videoton. The 29-year-old has now signed a two-year deal, with the option of a further 12 months, to secure a reunion with Blackpool boss Ian Holloway. Djordjic played under Holloway at Plymouth and the former Manchester United youngster is happy to be back in English football.

Grateful

"It feels good to be back," the Swede told the club's official website. "I moved here for the first time in 1999 to join Manchester United and when I left in 2007 from Plymouth - when I was there with Ollie - my plan and goal was always to come back to England. For me it is the number one footballing country in the world. "I'm really looking forward to this because I'm not 17 anymore, I'm 29 and this is probably my last chance to make it big and show that the talent that was there is still there. "I don't want to let any people down who have believed in me and I'm really grateful for this chance, especially to Ollie."
