Queens Park Rangers have handed a one-year contract extension to youth product Max Ehmer.
The German-born midfielder joined the club's academy after his family moved to England when he was a boy and he has now committed himself to Rangers until 2013.
The 19-year-old is yet to play in the Hoops' first team but made 27 appearances on loan at League One Yeovil for the second half of last season.
"Max has made great progress over the last few months," manager Neil Warnock told the club's official website.
"He had a very productive spell at Yeovil and the feedback we received was very promising.
"The experience he gained there will stand him in good stead to really push on over the next 12 months or so."
Rangers will play in the Premier League next season for the first time since 1996 after winning the Championship title.
