Thomas and Souza told they will not be offered new deals

Wayne Thomas and Dennis Souza are the latest to learn that they have no future at Doncaster Rovers. The defensive duo have been informed that they will not be offered the opportunity to prolong their association with the club. For Thomas, that means he will leave the South Yorkshire club when his contract expires at the end of June. Brazilian centre-half Souza will also be looking for new employers this summer, with Rovers opting against retaining the services of a player who only joined them last November. Byron Webster and Steve Brooker were released by Doncaster on Tuesday, with the former having since signed for League Two outfit Northampton. Elsewhere, midfielder Paul Keegan has put pen to paper on a new short-term deal at the Keepmoat Stadium, which should be extended further in August. Veteran goalkeeper Neil Sullivan has been offered a new contract along with defenders Sam Hird and James Chambers, while young midfielder Ryan Burge has also been offered fresh terms.
