Honduran joins struggling Scunthorpe on loan

Championship strugglers Scunthorpe have bolstered their squad with the addition of Leeds playmaker Ramon Nunez. The Honduras international has joined the Iron on an initial one month's loan, although that could be extended if both parties are happy to do so. The skilful playmaker joined the Whites following a successful trial but has been restricted to just two substitute appearances for Simon Grayson's side. Nunez is sure to feature prominently for Scunthorpe in the coming month under caretaker manager Tony Daws, whose team are currently five points adrift of fourth-from-bottom Crystal Palace. The 25-year-old recently scored all four goals in a reserve match with Lincoln and he is now in line to make his Iron debut away to Norwich on 2nd April. Nunez is the second Leeds player to depart the club on loan on Thursday following youngster Adam Clayton's move to League One MK Dons.
